Glee Corsetti
Coach Glee grew up in New England where she began playing lacrosse in 6th grade. She was a standout field hockey player and captain of the lacrosse team at Bow High School in New Hampshire, where she led her lacrosse team to three State Championships. She successfully walked on to the Division 1 lacrosse team at the University of New Hampshire. Unfortunately, Glee’s Division 1 playing days were cut short when she broke her back in a skiing accident. However, her injury didn’t stifle her passion for lacrosse and, once fully mended, Glee started and captained the Women’s Club Lacrosse Team at UNH where she competed for the duration of her time in college.
After college, Glee moved to Park City Utah and continued playing on competitive women’s club teams while coaching high school girls lacrosse teams in Park City and Brighton. She also coached the Utah/Idaho National School Girls’ Team and assisted with the Mamaci, Tenacity, and other club programs in the mountain west regions. Glee also began assisting Jackson Hole Lacrosse Club’s girls’ teams at or about that time. In 2016, Glee was named head coach of the University of Utah Women’s Lacrosse Team, where she coached for 5 years before moving back to the east coast to live near her family. Playing in whatever position the team needed most, Lila gained experience in all of the field positions, but her skills on offense landed her a starting spot on low attack or attacking midfield. The team won their division's Virginia State Championship and made it to the League Championship many years while Lila was a member. She received All-LIS and League honors over multiple seasons and became a co-captain her senior year.
Lila went on to play club lacrosse at the University of Vermont, where the team competed in the NEWLL league of the WCLA.
